Longboards are not meant for tricking, just for cruising around. You want bigger, harder wheels and I prefer having the trucks pretty tight. ,,, i think longboards are good for a lot of things such as; racing, but the racing standerds are listed above. But if you want to carve or slide then a shorter board will help, loose trucks, and pretty much any hardness of the wheels. And also if you're looking into buting one that's top-of-the-line than you should look at loadeds and/or landyatchz.
If you're not interested in fancy stuff like sliding or free-riding, then a good longboard for beginners is the pintail. Pintails are wide, and give added foot room at the back and front of the deck. Any board can be good for beginners, but I'd personally recommend a pintail. It all depends on how you'd like to ride. Get out there and skate until you see what suits your style.
If you are a good skateboarder, no. But you should probably practice on a good skateboard

the better the pop on a skateboard deck, the higher you will go when you ollie, kickflip or do any flip trick :)
You cant buy an electric skateboard, but you can buy an electric scooter. If you want an electric skateboard your going to have to make it yourself. Good luck!
