A skate board is typically a small wooden board with 4 wheels, used to perform stunts on land and is powered, in most cases, by being pushed along by the person riding it, a surfboard, however, has no wheels and is used most often in seas, oceans, or other large bodies of water, to perform tricks.

the phantom day dare of rephobia.

This all depends on the riding you plan on doing. If you skateboard you can pick vert or street; longboarding has downhill and sliding. It all depends on what your limits are, if you use proper safety gear, and where you practice it. My opinion would be that downhill longboarding is the most dangerous of all.
Absolutely NOT it's way way too dangerous. The tracks they use for luge, skeleton, etc. are the FASTEST tracks in the world! You most definitely couldn't skate on them.
