Element Trucks were released into the market after most of their competitors, therefore giving them the time to use the ideas of other truck companies and mold them into their own. I'd say they are about the same as independent, phantom, core, krux, ruckus, speed demons, venture, and thunders. Only ones better would be destructo and tensor.

well there both good because Almost has carbon fiber strips in the middle therefore is harder to snap/break, but element boards are really light like there model called "featherlight." So when it gets narrowed down to this its pretty much allabout personal preference !!!
Sorry this is the asker here, I don't seem to be able to edit my question so here it is.
I want a skateboard that is good for a beginner and riding casually on the road. I also want it to be able to handle bumpy roads.
Elements are good skateboards. Its one of the best I have a ZOO YORK which is good but if you try to do crazy stuff on it, it will snap. You can get them on amazon eBay
no element skate boards are good but girl is better but, element snaps easily!
this being true, element rocks socks like a fox in a box with chicken pox that smalls like rocks
You can get some blanks for $10 bucks. So $10-100. Its just where you look and what kind you want.
Yes, they are. Element has got TONS of shapes and multiple board constructions, while Plan B has got only regular 7 ply decks out.
there is not really a "best" type of skateboard. it's all self-preference. whatever you're used to or like is probably the best for you.
