The Lortabs I've been taking have been 10mg Hydrocodone pills mixed with APAP. If you take them while on Suboxone, either the analgesic (pain relieving) effects will be lost, or you will become sick much like during withdrawal. If you are going to use opiates, stop taking your Suboxone for a day or two prior.
WOW - Here is a correction.
Lortabs are not for depression... They are for moderate to severe pain.
Some opiate addicts might tell you that they are not depressed when taking them though but please realize that opiates are not used to treat depression.
Try a tri-cyclic or SSRI (selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor) for depression such as prozac, zoloft or even cymbalta.
Time to wait to take Lortab after SuboxoneI have been on Suboxone for 11 months. I had to have surgery 4 months ago and was taking 6mgs. Suboxone per day. Before I decided to take Lortab post-op I discussed this with my pharmacist. I was told that one can safely take Lortab 3-4 hours after last Suboxone dose. I decided to go ahead and tolerated the Lortab very well. Conversely, the same time is needed to resume taking Suboxone.
suboxone.....saved my life
Crack a bone or get in a car accident and screw ur back up
No. Lortab, like most other opiates, are only detectable for 72 hours after last use.
No if you are on Suboxone you are not supposed to be taking any narcotics at all.
Stop taking Lortab (same as Vicodin, generic is hydrocodone) for five days to clear it from your system. And don't keep taking it if you don't need to (for pain, as prescribed by a physician).
My Family Doctor prescribed Cymbaltin and at the same time prescived Lortab 10 for my constant headaches. Lortab contain acetaminaphen so I would assume that it is alright.
The Lorcet has more hydrocodone... 150mg more to be exact... 500mg (lortab) vs 650mg (Lorcet)... That'll have a tendency to make you drowsy...
You can take Valium, with Lithium, when prescribed by your physician. Metaxalon and Valium, both are a muscle relaxants. They should not be prescribed together. Hydrocodone and Valium, both are sedatives. They should not be prescribed together.
I would have to say Mallikrot!
suboxone ...saved my life....also subutex and methadone....but methadone is highly addictive as well....the one with the highest success rate is suboxone....a.k.a.beuprenorphine/naloxone.....good luck and hang in there....youve got to want it for it to work
Ok, I do these things too...I take 20 mg. of Suboxone daily....I have found, that you can still use opiates (pain killers) and even herion even just 10 hours later.....and still get some mild effects..if you wait longer of course, the higher you'll feel and you would want to take alot more Vicodin than usual to get the same hydrocodone effects you would've been used toif you want the MAX euphoric feeling....wait long enough to srt feeling sick from lack of suboxone and then take them...then youll get the response your looking for
