Asking how much a ramp costs is sort of like asking how much a car costs. There are many different kinds, sizes, and qualities. A simple launch ramp may be made from scrap wood parts and some nails. A manual pad can be made with used pallets and some sheets of plywood. It's possible to build a quality quarterpip at 8 feet wide for $250 or so. A small mini ramp halfpipe with masonite surface can be made for $1500, say 12 feet wide, 4 feet tall. Larger ramps will cost more. Thrasher has good ramp plans, and there are also companies who will build ramps for you, but then you're paying for someone else's labor. If you really enjoy Skateboarding, building a ramp is part of the fun -- learn how!
