To learn how to skate on a skateboard, you need to have balance. Balance is a big part in Skateboarding. Follow these steps:

1. Put your board on concrete, or a wood floor.

2. Put your running foot on the front of the board.

3. Push with the opposite foot.

( Make sure you are on smooth ground.)

Don't worry if you fall, everybody falls once in a while.

4. Keep riding...

You cant learn to do tricks without learning the basics.

5. If you want to learn tricks, go on the grass first.

6. HAVE FUN! Well, if you mean just gliding then you put one foot (back foot) on the rear bolts, and the other foot (front foot) 3/4 between the back bolts and the front bolts. If you mean ollieing (jumping) you have to put your back foot on the very tip of the rear lip and front foot in the middle of the board, and push down as hard as you can on your back foot. While pushing down, slide your other foot (front foot) quickly upwards in a controlled manner. For other information on ollieing/other skateboard tricks, look at YouTube.com

you have to stand on one of your toestops and then push the other foot forwards and just move one foot at a time but don't use the toestop!!

If you want to skate round a corner, not a sharp corner, as you are skating cross one foot over the other but the foot on the outside crosses over the foot that's on the inside then keep doing that until you get to a straight bit.

Pretty much by strapping skates on your feet and falling down a lot. Each time you fall down, try to remember what you did just before that, and don't do it again. It helps to have someone who already knows how to skate watch you, since they can point out things TO do, which is more efficient than finding out everything NOT to do on your own.

Getting on a skateboard is quite straightforward.

Finding which way you skate is not. (for more info, Google: "skating regular vs goofy")

Usually the foot you use to go up stairs first is your back foot.

What you want to do is put your front foot on the bolts (screws) then you can either:

1) Use your other foot to give a little push on the ground then bring it onto the back bolts (You are now skating!)

2) OR you can put your back foot on the back bolts and use a wall to push off of to learn your balance.

If you end up loving skating then keep going and go for the top!

but beware IT WILL TAKE A LOT OF PRACTICE!

I'm not the best, infact I'm not even good, but I still can tell you the basics. It's like riding a bike. You need to keep practicing, and eventually you'll be good enough to do all kinds of crazy tricks. Basically start with one foot near the front of the board. With your other foot, you push yourself. When you gain speed, rest your pushing foot behind your other foot. When you slow down, push some more. To turn, put more wight on the side of the board that you want to turn (if you want to go left, put weight on the left side of the board). If you need to make a sharp turn, you need to lift the board up by pushing on the back, and tilt the board the way you want to turn.

The key to roller skating is to pick up your feet. If you drag them along the ground, you'll be more likely to fall.

This is not a skateboarding question. You put the skates on and go. THE END
