Everybody has different beliefs of him.
I guess it depends on who you are asking. According to traditional Islam Gulam Ahmad is not a prophet or messiah. The Islamic Declaration of Faith is "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah". Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the last messenger as well as Prophet . There's none after him. Anything different is not from traditional Islam, its from something else. For Qade that is your opinion, why can't you let anyone else answer with out judging. You said not to judge so don't me. It's in the Quran and Sunnah what I said where is your proof. If your asking one of his followers, your answer can be found below, highlighted in yellow. If your asking one of his disbelievers, the answer is as follows:He is not a prophet, though He is a Messiah. Every major prophet has a Messiah, who comes when the world needs guidance, and simply refreshes their minds and gets them back together with their religion. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad did not put together a religion, but a community named after Hadhrat Muhammad (SA) called: Ahmadiyyat. This community is basically made up of anyone who wishes to follow The Messiah's teachings. Mirza Ghulam Ahmed did not change any of The Holy Prophet's teachings. The Holy Prophet states in a Hadith (These are not 100% the exact words, but written so everyone can understand it.): When me and my successors are gone, an era of kings, queens, knights, castles [referring to Medieval Times] shall begin. When it's over, the Messiah, or as people say "The Second Coming of Jesus" will arrive.
Here is an example of what he did:
"A teacher teaches her students the multiplication tables. A while later, the students forget, so another teacher refreshes their memories."
I (qade4) follow Mirza Ghulam Ahmed's teachings. For those who don't please just refer to the first sentence of this answer, and not write your negative comments, which hurt my feelings and go against my beliefs. If you call yourself Muslim, then The Holy Prophet said not to judge anyone's beliefs or make fun of them. Refer to Surah Al-Kafiroon in the Quran, which Ahmadis are aware of, because we also read it.
