You mean his wife, Khadija? She was the first person to accept Islam, immediately after Prophet Muhammad, God bless him and grant him peace, returned to Makkah from the cave in which the revelations began. Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was an intelligent, mature, sophisticated businesswoman. She was fifteen years older than Muhammad, God bless him and grant him peace, and they were devoted to each other. I'd say that her accepting Islam immediately after Prophet Muhammad, God bless him and grant him peace, did is absolutely believeable.

It is forbidden in Islam to marry anybody who is not from the followers of the Book. In order to get married to a Non-Muslim, the requirement is that he should first acceept Islam with his heart and not just for the sake of Marriage. If he truly accepts Islam as his Religion, only then can you marry.
