Everyone has differently shaped feet, so it just depends on the person. Grishkos often have harder shanks, which will make it more difficult for a beginning pointe student to get their arches all the way over the box. Grishkos are great pointe shoes, however, but they might not be right for you feet - go to a store and have yourself fitted for the right brand of pointe shoes if it's your first time.
You have to bend the shoe where you would naturally bend your foot. You mist make sure you don't squash the front though, as you will make it too wide. Be careful. Its best to be gentle but firm. The best way is do a little bit each day as they are very tough, so be patient as it may take afew weeks to be fully broken in. Good luck.
I find that the VERY BEST way to break in hard shoes is to wear them around the house ( a lot! ) and to dance in them. I tried Vaseline, but it didn't help.
He did recently, but it wasn't really a hard breakup. They both made the decision, and they thought it was a good choice. I'm not sure why they broke up.
It depends. If you are talking about pointe shoes, Grishkos are a good brand because they are thin, slender, and they make your feet look skinny and long (which is pretty good (: ). Capezios are used mainly for people with shorter, wider toes, but I wear them and I have skinny and normal-sized toes. If you are talking about normal, flat ballet shoes, then I have nothing much to say. There are MANY brands of flats, and I wear Angelo Luzios, but Blochs or other kinds might be just as well.
