I believe the ballet you are referring to is Swan Lake about a prince who's supposed to get married and falls in love with a princess cursed to be a swan (Queen of them at that) for the rest of her life. Otherwise you might be thinking about Carnival of the Animals and I'm not sure how that one goes.
