There are four props used throughout the whole dance, these include: Canes and Baseball caps used by both of the guards, a chair which everyone uses at some point and a red nose which is put onto the prisoner to intimidate him. The wooden chair is said to be the prisoners place of safety and it is in every scene. The canes are brought in in section 6, officially used as a prop but then they become a weapon to intimidate and control the tortured victim. Also, the caps and red nose are used in section 2, the hats adding a sense of power towards the guards, singling the prisoner out and showing who is in control of this situation.
