Chemistry is relevant in your life such that your life exists because of chemistry. All of your bodily functions, breathing, sleeping, eating, digesting, etc, etc....all of that is related to complex (and not so complex) chemical reactions within the body. For example, when you breath, your body is actually responding to high levels of carbonic acid (H(2)CO(3)) in your blood...oxygen must be taken in in order to remove, or exhale, some of the CO(2), or else you would die of a condition known as acidosis. Hope you have a better understanding of chemistry and life now.
