When you are picking out pointe shoes, it doesn't always need to be about the brand that they are. It doesn't matter how much they cost either. As long as they are not too big (it is better for them to be too small than too big) and as long as they feel good and your toes aren't crowded, they are a "good brand"! For me, I love Russian Pointe Shoes the most-- but that is only because they fit well!
I think that capizio or bloch are the best. Bloch is more fore starters like ages 10 to maybe 14. If you get capizios for first ones they are problebly going to be uncomfortable. Bloch is more comfortable for the starting shoes.
i wanna know too! i am a dancer and am dying to get the same pointe shoes as such a historical figure in ballet!
"En pointe" refers to dancing in pointe shoes. Non-pointe ballet shoes are demi-pointe shoes, and the dancing is "en demi-pointe".
Hi - You want to buy pointe shoes anywhere there are professional fitters. The fitters are necessary if its your first pair, and if you want to try a different brand, they're also very handy. To find a store in your area, just Google or Bing it.
Pointe shoes are quite expensive. They can reach from $50 up to $130. I am a dancer/ballerina myself and mine is $115😅 But it is worth it considering the excitement you feel when you get your pointe shoes (especially your first ones). But remember, you have to get permission from your ballet teacher/coach to go on pointe as pointework is pretty dangerous for inexperienced dancers and dancers with weak ankles.
Ballet shoes are either slippers for practising or pointe shoes. Which, after a girl goes through pre-pointe possibly for one year, they can get pointe shoes then perform pointe! Guys do where ballet slippers but they do not go on pointe

u can usually buy them where u got ur pointe shoes, from a dance magazine,or online i no capezio the brand sells them
There is no "best" pointe shoe. Pointe shoes have to do with how ones foot is shaped, and since everyone is different, people need different types of shoes. There are tons of brands of shoes, and tons of different sizes for each type. So, try all different types of pointe shoes, see which ones you like.
some pointe shoes are : Bloch Capezio Freed Principal And Russian There are much more but those are some name brand pointe shoes Especially Bloch And Capezio and don't forget Grishkos

for starters, by a pointe shoe with a harder shank. or after you use your pointe shoes, put newspaper inside then. These are guarantied to expand the life of your pointe shoes.
Either Capezio or Bloch. You should visit a place that sells pointe shoes and they should tell you which size and shoe pads to buy. Personally, I hate Capezios, but I love Grishko and Russian Pointe ( actual brand name). Some people say they are the pointe shoes from hell, but I think they are exceptional, and look really professional and elegant on your feet.
i can rcommend the grishko 2007 pointe shoes. they work very well for all kinds of feet.
