The song does not have to be about Basketball, it can just be your fave song, or just very upbeat. And if you don't like the word but you like the beat, just find the instrumental, and if you really want you could on YouTube and type in cheer mixes.

Alright man, I am in middle school and kids do this all the time-well, not at school dances but at larger dances with other schools. It is probably banned but you can get away with it. Usually the girls on a fast song will shake their butts as an invitation so there you go.

At the varisty level you have boys and girls basketball, wrestling, boys and girls wintertrack and depending in your school you could have cheerleading and a kickline for the basketball games.
