There is sword baton went the use swords to twirl but not sharp ones. there are many things to do in baton. they have competitions, when two groups or two individuals go up against each other in front of judges. there is a thing called private lesson, when they have competitons but only one person does the routine. in private lesson there are many different kinds of routines you can do. Solo, Fancy strut, modeling, Fancy best appearing, Military strut, military. There are different catagories. novice, beginner, advanced, intermidiate. They are difficult and it took me about 2 days to learn how you put your baton on the floor stait up and down then you swing your arms like you doing a cart wheel and you spin on 1 foot while bringing the other in the air and pick up ur baton its kina like a cart wheel but this is a harder trick to do usually more advenced twirlers do this to go from one baton into two baton tricks i do it in my rountine!!!!
