You can still buy pointe shoes, but if you haven't been trained in Ballet you will not only be confused in how to do the moves, it would be very easy to get a serious injury from it. Ballerinas have to go through countless years of training to finally be able to dance on pointe.

hey my names Amy and i am 12 years old and just about to go on pointe i know lots of girls my age and older and they have all worked for years to get on pointe. even if you know everything to do with ballet doesn't mean you are strong enough mentally and physically. It is frustrating trying to get on pointe but just work your hardest and you will get there one day. i know you will if you love it that much folow your dream. That's what i did and now i am living my dream at the age of 12! so keep going you will get there one day, i promise.

Thankyou for reading and don't forget to work hard. All the best of luck Amy. ox

DON'T DO IT, DON'T DO IT, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've trained for years to do this and someone with no training will break every bone in there body!! trust me I've witnessed it not very pleasant and with years of training ive broke my ankle, 6 of my toes, nearly dislocated a knee cap and fractured a bone in my leg!!!!!! DON'T DO IT, DON'T DO IT, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT GO UP ON POINTE WITH OUT PROPER TRAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it took me years before i could go on pointe and im 13 i had been training since i was 4 and when i did start my pointe class and it took me half the season to even get my pointe shoes. i no that i don't have a lot of experience as some other people but i have had my ankle roll to the pointe where it had toched the floor and i was still standing luckely i didnt break or fracture anything but it still kept me off my foot for 2 weeks and off pointe for a month . please for the love of dancers every where dot go up on pointe

Hi! I have danced 4 years before going up on pointe, before I went to my new studio I went put on pointe to early and it hurt my feet because they werent strong enough yet...and that was still after dancing 3 years. If you have no dance experience....that wouldn't be very smart.. Ballerina's toes have serious muscles taht help us. :)) but if you love dance... find a ballet studio and start!!
