Only royalty could perform the early form of "Ballet". At first, the music was more important then the dance. The dancers would just take simple turned-out steps, and it was "beautiful". THat is how ballet got started, but soon, the dancing became more of the center of attention than the music. People started taking chances, and adding more steps and jumps to "ballet". Now adays, ballet is competitive, and is considered very beautiful. There are over 300 dance "moves" now. And just think: It started out as a couple of simple steps. You're welcome...
