In first act there is the Party Scene, where there is a Christmas party at Clara's house. The children and the adults do different dances like they are dancing at a party. Then there is the Battle Scene, where the mouse king and the Nutcracker have a sword fight (still graceful). After that, the Snowflake Scene, where dancers dance as if they are snow in a breeze. Thereafter, the Nutcracker and Clara (the Sugar Plum Queen) perform numerous solos and duets. THere are short variations performed by Chinese dancers, Mirlitons, Bon Bons, Arabian dancers, and a single male Russian Dancer. There also is a finale where all of the dancers perform in, but remember that there are many different versions of the Nutcracker, and this is only Chikoske's version. (Sorry about spelling!) If you're wondering how I could answer all of these, is becausse I am a professional dancer in the Nutcracker, and am dancing as a snowflake and a Chinese dancer! You're welcome...
There are more than 700 versions of Cinderella. An example is The Golden Sandal.
No its not true at all. There are many famous male ballet dancers.
George Balanchine was probably the most famous ballet choreographer. He created many original works that ballet companies still dance today. His works are complex and challenging for the dancers who dance in them. He choreographed his own version of the Nutcracker and he helped found the New York City Ballet.
The main characters in The Nutcracker are; Clara, Nutcracker, MouseKing, Sugar Plum Fairy, Dr Drossemier. Please note - you need to be sure whether you are looking for the characters in 'The Nutcracker', which is the traditional version - the above names are all correct (though I think Drosselmeyer is sometimes known as Herr Drosselmeyer). But there is also a version by Matthew Bourne, known as 'Nutcracker!' This version has characters with slightly different names, & their names also change from act 1 to act 2 for some of the characters - they include ~ Clara - Clara Nutcracker boy - Nutcracker Sugar - Princess Sugar Fritz - Prince Bon-Bon Dr Dross - King Sherbet Matron - Queen Candy.
There are many male dancers en pointe like in "The Hard Nut" which is a modern version of the Nutcracker with maily male dancers who are en pointe.
Nutcracker has three syllables.
