If canvas Ballet shoes are too small or need to be broken in, you can do one of two things.
The first thing to do, which may or may not make them more comfortable for your foot, is to wear them around for long periods of time, whether it be at the studio or around the house. This will eventually stretch and shape the material to your foot.
You can also try using a shoe horn to stretch out the canvas. This may not work as well because you risk stretching the shoe too far.
no... regular ballet shoes are just canvas or leather, but pointe shoes are actually just layers of fabric and glue.
There are two main types of ballet shoes: leather or canvas slippers (often called 'flats') and pointe shoes (with a stiffened tip).
Ballet flat shoes are made out of either soft leather or canvas. The box of point/toe shoes is made of layers of fabric and glue, which is then covered by satin.
The ballet shoes that professionals use are called pointe shoes. They are shoes made specially for the dancers to dance on their toes. They are hardened with layers of fabric and glue that the dancer has stability. Softer shoes are just ballet slippers and are often made of canvas.
Usually leather, canvas or vinyl (very bad, and not much cheaper).

"Flat" shoes which are made out of leather or canvas, these are not the shoes you wear to stand on your toes, and then there wre Pointe, or toe shoes which are used to dance on your toes.
For ballet class- Leotard, pink ballet tights, silk/leather/canvas pink or black ballet shoes, a ballet skirt (optional) On stage, you either wear a tutu, or a long ballet dress. But, it could be anything!!
you cant purposley stretch shoes but some shoes stretch overtime like the canvas toms and the sheepskin uggs
This depends on the shoe.... On discount dance a Capezio Pro Canvas Ballet Slipper costs about $14. Pointe shoes cost around $70-300. Hope i helped(: <3, Marissa
a ballet shoe may be made from soft leather, canvas, or satin, and have flexible, thin soles. Ballet shoes must fit very closely to the foot, for safety and to retain maximum flexibility.
It depends on what type of dance and where you dance but here are some answers! Ballet: Pink tights-Pink Canvas Ballet shoes-Leotard-Pointe Shoes* Jazz: Jazz shoes- any tshirt- shorts (soffee is the best!)- Pink Tights (depends) Hip Hop: Same as jazz but it all depends on the studio! Flamanco: Flamanco shoes- Flamanco skirt- others (depending on studio) Modern: Same as jazz but it all depends on the studio! !!!!!!!!!!!! *= Depends on LevelWere I take my classes (Ballet) we wear pink tights, spit sole or leather canvas ballet shoes (depending on arch), a leotard (traditionally black or pink) and pointe shoes (if of strength.)
If you do tap, tap shoes. If you do ballet, ballet flats.
