To dance at a ballet performance, you must either be a part of the company performing or a guest artist the company has hired. In order to be involved with these performances, you must first audition for a spot in the company. Artistic directors, choreographers, and others on the panel will look at your level and years of experience, your technique, grace, emotion, and professionalism. Once you're in the company, you may have to audition for places in a performance, or just be given the role. Your schedule will include practice for this, and in two or three months, you'll have the opportunity to perform it!
