I'm twelve, and I've ALWAYS wanted to be a ballerina, but when I was small, I was in hospital a lot (not for any reasons that effect dancing) and so I've only just started. I'm 5"9 and still growing, will I ever be able to dance for real?

A ballerina is generally tall and slim, not full figured, with long limbs. However, fuller figured girls can do ballet as well, but the stereotypical ballerina is what is described above.
He is called a ballerina too...
(It depends on professional of "just for fun" studios!)Professional: First: You must be tall (but not too tall) Second: You must be slimThird: You must have a lot of experienceFourth: (Look it up!)Just for fun!:(no qualities)
The highest level is Prima Ballerina Assolute, then is Prima Ballerina
There are no age limits to start ballet as each studio differs but it is best not to start too early, six is a good age to start at if you want to be a professional ballerina
