There is no real title for an athlete that throws the discus or javelin - they are simply referred to as javelin or discus throwers, or more generally as throwers, field event athletes, etc.
javelin
meters
the person that throws the javelin the bigger distance from the start win first-sixth.
Possibly the discus or javelin throws.
They have to throw the javelin further than the rest of the competitors. once a person throws their javelin, the distance is measured and recorded. once everyone has thrown, the winner is determined.
To put it simply, the athlete who throws the javelin the farthest throw wins. If there is a tie, the person whose next best throw went the farthest wins. If still tied after this, then compare the third-best distance of the tied athletes and the athlete with the greatest third-best distance is awarded the higher place.
I saw a video on YouTube where the fellow explained that the 40m javelin was not as stiff as the 50m. A more flexible javelin is preferred by beginners as it absorbs some of the stress better and relieves that from the shoulder. As a thrower gets in better shape and throws farther, the stiffer 50m javelin is preferred as it flies better and, thus, farther.
Javelin is a metal tipped spear used in an athletic event known as javelin throw. Unlike other throwing events, in javelin throw the thrower has to cover a long run-up area before throwing. It provides him certain forward velocity so that the javelin could be thrown up to the maximum distance. In javelin throws only those throws are legal in which the tip of javelin touches the ground first. As it is considered a dangerous event, the throwing areas are restricted. Usually each participant get three or sometimes six chances. After throwing, a javelin can attain the speed up to 113 km/h (70 mph).Materials:The main portion of a javelin is made of wooden shaft to which a sharp pointed metal tip is attached. The sharp tip helps the javelin to pierce the ground easily. Fiberglass and Carbon fiber is also used instead of wood. In the middle of javelin, a strip of threads or leather covers are winded to provide a solid grip.Length of javelin * Men's javelin is 260cm (8.5 feet) in length. * Women's javelin is 220cm (7.25 feet) in length.
In long jump, momentum plays a crucial role in propelling the athlete forward and increasing the distance covered. The greater the speed and body mass of the athlete during takeoff, the more momentum they can generate for the jump. This momentum helps the athlete maintain their velocity in the air and cover a longer distance.
Meters. In collegiate and professional levels, all throws (including javelin) are measured in meters to abide by the universal measurement of the rest of the world. Official records for these events are in meters but can be converted to the nearest feet and inches.
