If you go to the official paralympics web site, there is a pdf file for each sport which can be downloaded explaining each code classification. It is quite complicated as there are lots of criteria to meet for a classification which is explained in the manual. The site is

The Paralympics are split into summer and winter games, much like the Olympic Games. There are 22 sports in the summer games, and 5 sports in the winter games.
