A three-pronged spear is called a trident. A three-pronged fork is just a fork. It might be a pitchfork, or a table (salad, dinner or seafood) fork, or even a serving fork. Placement on the table and relative size are the guides, and they say more about the fork (and suggest a name like dinner or seafood) than the number of tines.

No idiot, its not an arrow. An arrow has only 1 point. The correct answer is a trident. in latin, trident means three notches. A pitchfork with three points could also be an answer, but not likely because pitchforks vary in the number of forks.

Could be a gigging pole, or gig for short. A gigging pole can have several prongs and is used mainly for river fishing and frogging.

A pronged spear is basically a wooden stick that has a very sharp metal or iron end that can kill someone in war by thrusting the sharp end into his or her's body.
