100 or so
Depending on condition, $150-$200.
The approximate resale value of a .22 Mossberg 640KA is $125 to $175 depending on its condition. Some have sold for as much as $250 in like-new condition or new-in-box.
640k 22 mag was manufactured from 1959-1984.
Between 1969-1985. But if you contact Mossberg customer service through their website, they can narrow it down. BTW, that is an excellent rifle.
You dont deserve the gun or magazine if you call a magazine a clip.
yes
There are limited references on the 640K. Mine show the 640K made 1959-1960, the 640K-A from 1960-68, and the 640K-D from 1969-1985. My best guess would be after 1968. Vic Havlin at havlinsales.com runs the Mossberg Collector's Association, and may be able to narrow down the dates.
Mossberg made all their rifles in the USA.
I bought mine at a gun show for $200 without a scope. Others are selling on the internet for $200 with a scope and an ingraved stock. Mine was also in mint condition. Like most second hand rifles, they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. In many cases ive seen the majority of 2nd hand rifles being sold for $50-$100 less than a new current model. To me it makes sense to buy new. Ive seen the Mossberg 640KA at AU$350-AU$600. If buying brand new, its best to seek the RRP from the manufacturers site and that way you can make a decision if the dealers markup price is justifyable.
$350.00
Nothing wrong with the Mossberg brand. <><><> Agree. Mossberg has been making good firearms for a long time.
