It depends on if you go running everyday and for how long. It's better to vary the distance you run per week (e.x. week 1 20miles, week 2 20miles, week 3 15miles, week 4 25miles) because it helps with your distance and speed. It also depends on if you push yourself of not, because if you don't then you probably won't see the results you want. I would also cross train and work on my core.
