Sometimes its not leaking, its condensation on the inside of the tent that falls when its knocked off from the slightest touch. If the tent has lost its waterproofing, the water may be 'transmitted' throught the fabric through wick action of someone touching it.

yes because the tiny pin sized holes get water trough them and the water builds up and then starts to drip
