Pellets or slugs. shotguns usually shoot shot or pellets, but you can shoot slugs. in Indiana we use a shotgun to hunt deer and use shotgun slugs, better to use a barrel with no choke in it. cylinder bore preferred.
You could eaither shoot dove with a 20 gauge shotgun or a 12 gauge shotgun. You should also use a bird shot shells
No, you can not shoot anything but 12 gauge shotgun shells through a 12 gauge shotgun. Never use any ammunition other than what the firearm was designed for.
You can use a net , make a trap or just shoot it with a pelet gun
Cylinder to Full depending on what discipline you are into.
Trap shotguns are only used for trap shooting and should only be bought if you are really into trap shooting (or have too much money =] ). Field guns can be used for both field and trap applications. However, field and trap guns aim differently. Trap guns are easier to use for trap, and I'm not sure on the other way around. My advice is to by a field gun to use for both uses. That's what I did, and I get great trap scores. If I had an extra $2 or 3 thousand, I would by a trap gun because they work better for trap, but I don't =).
A shotgun is really the only one to use so a shotgun 12 20 gauge maybe 410. if you hit it in the right spot
According to the guide I use, IJ Made a "Special Trap Single Shot Hammer Shotgun" and a "Super Trap Hammerless Double". Both discontinued in 1942.
Anytime it is legal to use a shotgun. If you mean a gun set to shoot an animal to kill it vice capturing it, you need to check the local laws however I believe that it is no longer legal in most places. If you mean a gun set to shoot an intruder or burglar, I am real sure that it's not legal in the US and will get you a stiff jail term if someone is hurt.
Yes. It would be almost impossible to shoot skeet with anything else besides a shotgun because clays are small, fast-moving targets. The multiple projectiles from a shotgun make it possible to hit clays. You will want to use target-specific shells--anyone at an ammo store can help you find the right load.
Whichever you will use more. If your hunting season is close, or you want to shoot clay's often, get a shotgun. If you would play paintball more then that, get a paintball marker.
Browning never marketed a B80 specifically as a "Trap Model". In 1987 they came out with the B80 Plus model which could shoot all loads. Prior to that, each gun used a special recoil adapter. Invectors were also available. The B80 was dropped from the line in 1989. Basically any B80 with a 30" barrel and full choke could be considered a gun for trap, however the stocks were designed for hunting use.
