The Special Olympics is a global organization that conducts events in more than 190 countries. Competitions are held in various nations around the world, including the United States, Canada, Australia, China, and many European and African countries. Each nation organizes local, regional, and national games, leading up to the World Games, which occur every two years in different host countries. The inclusive nature of the Special Olympics allows athletes from diverse backgrounds to participate globally.
