There will be a total of 86 medal events in 15 different sports.

The line-up includes alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, cross country, skiing, curling, figure skating, freestyle skiing, ice hockey, luge, nordic combined, short track speed skating, skeleton, ski jumping, snowboarding, and speed skating.

One freestyle skiing event that's new to the Olympics this year is ski cross. In this event, four skiers race down the course at the same time. The first across the finish line wins.
