An Olymic size swimming pool it 50m long by 25 m wide and at least 2m deep. There has to be 10 lanes (8 competitive plus 2 outside lanes) which are 2.5m wide. The water temperature hs to be 25-28°C (77-82.4°F) with the light intensity at least 1500 lux. The water volume therefore has to be at least 2,500m3 or 2,500,000 litres
