Does the Olympics get government funds?

USOC receives funding through a mix of corporate and private donations. It has no regular government funding. It is also funded through the US Olympic Foundation, which was formed from the profits of the 1984 Los Angeles Games.

I believe it is generally funded by the public sector, but I was curious to find out what involvement (financially,) the International Olympic Commitee had (If any.)
