No, but every little helps, and if millions of teens in our country skateboarded to school instead of sitting in a car, then millions of cars are off the road and NOT burning petroleum. Spread the word.
A:Man produces a small portion of the greenhouse gases. Half of all the greenhouse emissions by man are for consumption inside of buildings. Less than 20% of the total emissions of GHG comes from vehicles. Much of that comes from trucks transporting goods. Almost all of the rest comes from daily activities that could not be done on a skateboard. If the entire world gave up all of their automobiles and replaced them with skateboards, the reduction of GHG emissions would not be noticeable. The family skateboard would also require a fuel, body power which emits CO2. CO2 emissions from the principal engine (probably dad) would increase. Making the reduction even less. Dad would end up healthier is the only thing that ultimately would happen. Good for Dad.

Skateboarding alone cannot stop global warming, but it can contribute to reducing carbon emissions by providing an alternative means of transportation that is more environmentally friendly than driving cars. Additionally, raising awareness about sustainability through skateboarding events and campaigns can help inspire action towards addressing climate change.
Most polar ice caps could still be arouynd and the weather wouldn't be so hot out. STOP global warming!
yes we can stop glodal warming by walking and biking instead of using the car
Recycling saves a little energy, usually fossil fuel energy, so this slows global warming a tiny bit.
Yes. But we can prevent it, stop using fossil fuels and electricity too much and hopefully global warming can slow down.
The biggest contributor to global warming is burning fossil fuels. To correct this we need to stop, and move to renewable energy.
