I've been married to my husband for almost 4 years. We were together for 7 years before we decided to get married. We had to boys (now 8 and 7) and 1 on the way. He never 'asked' we just decided it was the right time, and together picked out rings and everything. He's probably just nervous. Hope that helps. :)
