I've seen it on eBay for up to $18.00.
A vintage Cabbage Patch Doll is not worth much money in 2014. On average, some are selling for as high as $50.
The cabbage patch kids were made in the year 1983. They were actually sold during 1985. Xavier Roberts invented them. He was a designer, born in Clevlend Georgia in 1955. He made each doll with their own identity. They each had an adoption certificate and could be named. He wanted to show little kids that each and every person is unique, different. They would come wanting to find a home and to be loved. Simple things can teach us a lot!
A head of solid green cabbage that is available at your local supermarket is the best variety to use when making cabbage soup. You could use red cabbage but it will not be as attractive as the green variety. Napa cabbage would not be a good choice.

I work at Babyland General hospital and I can tell you that it depends on the shape the baby is in and if you have the papers or not.
The year would be 1976. The creator was Xavier Roberts. They were the hottest things on the market and costs were going as high as $100 for them; at that time a huge sum of money for an ugly doll that did nothing.
Usually you can't unless you ask the company if they can do it for you, then you would either send it in or decide to live with a faceless doll, or live with the face as is. :)
it depends on the size of the cabbage patch. hamsters are quite small so usually a lot of them. >> Hamsters have an exponential reproduction rate, they will adapt. I would recommend a genetic diversity of 4-5 females and 5-6 Males from different litters. The environment will dictate the population size and nature will do the rest. DO NOT go out and just buy a ton of hamsters that could turn out bad!!!! Let them breed!
I can't tell you the value of your doll but I can tell you how to find out. Dolls are sold on a secondary market for people who collect them. Books are printed annually listing the values of dolls and other collectibles. Cabbage Patch, the last time I looked, had its own book. Look in the book find the name of your doll and it will give you a market value at the time of printing. This price can be higher or lower today. The value of your doll is also determined by condition, if the birth papers are with it, and if there is an original box that the doll came in. With these things the price of your doll can increase. Check EBay for base price values as well this will tell you how the market is moving now.
Cabbage is repollo. It would be cabbage soup.

When my father saw my first paycheck, he exclaimed, "That's a lot of cabbage!". I would like stuffed cabbage for Sunday's dinner.
