The plays are numbered (1 - 90 if you use three cards in the wristband) and they written out without the formations usually. The coach on the sideline will signal in the group (2 or 3 wide receivers for example) and then signal in the number of the play. The QB will look at his wristband card and then read the play right off the card. For example, the coach signal in the formation "Far Right" and the play number "7". The QB gets to the huddle, Calls the formation Far Right and reads the play "866 Backs Flat Queen.". On the wrist band, it just reads "7) 866 Backs Flat Queen" so you can get a lot of plays on the wrist band, especially when you are signaling the formations.

They read notes
why not scroll to the credits, play it slow and read
Well, Midst of Lions seems like a Christian band. They've got some good lyrics. So, I guess ^ ^ read the lyrics fool! RE: they are indeed a Christian band all the way. Not only are they signed to a Christian based label "Facedown Records" but if you actually do read their lyrics, some of them are straight out of the bible. I encourage anyone of you to ask them why they tour and play music around the country next time you see them. Source: personal friend of the band/long time fan.
