Kick-flips take 1-5 months to learn and master. Kick-flips are pretty frustrating. You have to learn to do a ollie first. So then you do an ollie but you keep the front slanted and the back a slightly further. Do an ollie like that but as your front foot slides forward you give it a flick and that starts the motion. After, you have down pack flipping now to land. To land the kick-flip you do a sort of a flick then try to catch it with back foot only. Then practice land only front foot. Then all that's left to do is land on both feet on the the bolts!!!

mmk its much easier than that guy explained it its basically a barrelflip you can put your front foot on the edge and flick out after you ollie.
