One thing I do know is that I grew around him and his friends and he had been doing cocaine AND injecting steroids in his body simultaneously, so that's what likely did him in. I wasn't real close to him, but we were all aware of what he was doing, when the police found him, his dogs had (from hunger) had eaten his legs all the way down to the bone, I felt horrible for Bret, he was a nice guy.
