Probably because they have an agreement with the NFL, or they paid to host it. Remember, networks pay huge money to show sports finale events because if given that opportunity, the revenue received from advertising (each 30 second ad in a sports finale event, such as the Super Bowl, can run 2 million dollars or more each) can be enormous and excellent business for the network.
