Indian Standard Time is GMT +5:30 (five and a half hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time), which works out to 10 and a half hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Standard Time. Super Bowl kickoff is usually between 6 and 6:30 p.m. EST, so in India, it will start between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., February 8, 2010.
Because NBC missed the kickoff, as Charlie Jones was interviewing Bob Hope at the time.

Yes, in the Eastern Time Zone, AFC Championship Game is scheduled for 3:00pm EST (on CBS) and the NFC Championship Game is scheduled for 6:30pm EST (on FOX). The NFC kickoff is scheduled for 6:40pm EST. I haven't seen a kickoff time for the AFC game but it should be shortly after 3:00pm. The networks could adjust the times slightly to avoid an overlap of games (overtime in AFC game). Check your local listings if you are not in the Eastern Time Zone.
