There are many islands west of Vancouver, BC. That group of islands is known as the Gulf Islands. The largest of the Gulf Islands is Quadra Island. There is also a very large island just west of Vancouver BC that is not included in the Gulf Islands group. It is called Vancouver Island. Victoria, BC is located on Vancouver Island.
