There is no specific height requirement. It actually depends on whats the shelf will be used for, what items will be displayed on it and the maximum height will be driven by the person(s) who need to clean it etc.

It is as simple as what you are climbing. Wall climbing is an indoor way to learn about climbing, practice, train, socialize, and compete. This is a more modern way to expose people to climbing in a controlled environment. Rock climbing is the original activity. It takes place on real rocks. You can climb whole mountains, single pitches at a cliff or even boulders. Get out there and climb something! :)

Both of these sports can be as hard as you want them to be. There are different routes , often called rock problems, for every level of rock climbing experience. There are routes that anyone of the street can climb - and there are rock problems that only a couple people in the world can get up.
