A cricket batting gloves is made out of cloth, cotton and rubber. The inner part is made of cloth to help the batsman grip the bat firmly. The outer part is made of light rubber and a lot of sponge/cotton to minimize damage on the hands if the cricket ball hits the batsmans hand. Apart from this it can also contain elastic to hold the glove to the batsmans hand
