This appears to be an urban myth. The cartoonist Toby Dials created the Hydrogen Barackside cartoon and he confirms this on his website at http://www.tobytoons.com/td/cartoon/20090609/hydrogen-barackside.html It seems that the story about Scotland appeared in someone's blog and gradually this was restated so many times that everyone believed it to be true.
Actualy none because there is no electronics involved. It is all electrical as a heater and thermo witching to stop the heating. The electronics in a toaster control the heating coils inside that actually toast the bread as well as the sensors that determine when the toast should be "popped". The dials on the side of most toasters control how long the toast has to stay down to be toasted.
If you mean pendulums, they do that to use the inertial energy of the pendulum to keep the clock going. If you mean why do they go clockwise, it's based off of sun dials which measured time by the spot a shadow cast on a "clock" face drawn on a flat, round surface. Just a tradition really.
The Bracelet is Tag Heuer S-Link. In the Bourne Identity 2003 it looks my Tag Heuer Senna special edition 2004 Automatic Chronograph and it looks to have the same face and dials, but without the yellow Senna S In the later films it will still be the S-Link Bracelet models but with the "latest" model for the time of the film. measures amount of electricity usedIt depends on what kind of meter you are talking aboutone meter is on the side of your house witch measures how much eletricity you use.another kind is a voltage meter witch can tell you how many volts, amps, watts, and ohms are being pumped through a eletrical wire.AnswerWhat is colloquially known as an 'electric meter', or 'electricity meter', is correctly termed an energy meter. As the name implies, an energy meter is used to measure the amount of energy (not 'electricity', which is not a quantity!) purchased from the electricity supply company for the purpose of billing its customers. This energy is measured in units called kilowatt hours (kW.h) and, for this reason, energy meters are sometimes referred to as 'kilowatt hour meters' or 'watt hour meters'.
