If you're just playing around for fun, set the hoop at whatever height you want. When played as a sport though, the hoop is virtually always set at 10 feet. Though some youth leagues for kids under 10 years put the hoop at 8.5 feet, I'd recommend playing or practicing with it at 10 feet, so that you'll learn skills applicable to school Basketball, and you won't have to readjust your technique later on.

A full height ring is around 3m. A junior or modified ring is a bit over 2m.

THIS IS RUBBISH WHOEVER SAID 6 ft ---the height of a full size net is 10ft--- because 6ft is about the height of my dad and that is tiny! Sorry but get the facts before you answer! :)

The height of a netball for a 7-year old would be the same that it is for ages 8 to 10 years of age, which would be 8 feet high.
