How much does a tour de France bike weigh?

A top-of-the-line racing bicycle as used by the TdF riders is quite expensive.

If you want one, expect to pay at least 10 000 USD or 6 000 EUR or about the same in GBP for one. Probablyquite a bit more.

UCI rules state that a competition bicycle must weigh at least 6.8 kg, so you can expect most bikes to be pretty darn close to that - particularly for the mountain stages. The TT (Time Trial) bikes may be a little bit heavier, as weight is less important on flat stages.
