Though racist people (both in the stands, in the US, and even his fellow ballplayers) hated him and what he stood for, Robinson kept quiet and persevered through what they said and did. People expected Robinson to become infuriated and/or leave the Brooklyn Dodgers. Instead, he did neither and acted like a gentleman. The racists eventually mellowed, and Robinson and other African American players were accepted into the big leagues.

He was treated bad in many diffrent ways. Sometimes games would be canceled because the other teammates refused to play with an afrucan american and he recieved many threating people that were racist.
