Jim Abbot was a famous disabled Major League Baseball player. He pitched for the California Angels, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, and Milwaukee Brewers from 1989-1998. He was born without his right hand. He would pitch with his left hand and in one fluid motion transfer his glove onto his left hand after releasing the pitch. He is now retired and tours the country as a motivational speaker.
