You accidentally left choke on your 94 kx 250 for about 5 min and was revving it but not to loud turned off choke and it ran fine could this have worn your dirt bike?
Your bike would burn a lot more fuel during the time the choke was on. It would not cause any damage especially considering it was only on for 5 minutes.

It's OK for your bike to idle high, briefly, as it warms up. Just move the choke to the half-way point or so before taking it off completely. A gradual reduction in the choke will make shut-offs less likely.
