It depends on what you mean by "best". In nearly every respective definition of the word when applied to Monster Truck racing, Dennis Anderson and his "Grave Digger" Truck are largely considered the "best" monster truck in the sports history. Anderson's fanatical fan base, the size of his fan base, the financial success of his truck and team, his maverick freestyle displays and his unrivaled appreciation of his fans have made him the most recognizable brand in the sport. He and his team have pioneered the modern monster truck with its engineering and physics. Bob Chandler and his "Bigfoot" truck also made key contributions. On Chandlers Wiki page, the page author claims that Chandlers Bigfoot; "remains the most well-known monster truck moniker in the United States." This claim is based on fairytale. There are few, if any, Monster Truck Motorsports fans under the age of 30 that have a clue who Chandler or "Bigfoot" is. Bigfoot is a relic in this modern era with a fan base that is monumentally eclipsed by the legions of Grave Digger fans that commandeer events in which the truck appears. In nearly all major events, stadiums are dominated in the symbolic Green and Black Digger Color combination. Anderson's success has led to the appearance of multiple trucks and drivers in order to adequately meet the high demand of fans desiring to attend events. This is also true of Meents' Maximum Destruction and of Chandlers Bigfoot. However, one thing cannot be denied: if the Grave Digger truck were to leave the USHRA Monster Jam circuit and it's owner, Feld Entertainment... The entre business would collapse as the predominately Digger loyal fan base would exit as well. There is not a single truck or driver that can claim such. Tom Meents is younger and has more championships under his belt. He may be the most talented MT driver of all time with a record number of racing championships. But that is not what makes a driver or truck "the best" as Meents still fails to gain the popularity of Grave Digger
